Although the printing of this book may not appear impressive but this is definitely one of those books that deserves to not be judged by its cover. I was working on an assignment and needed information on the reason why Jews of Madina had so much resentment for the Prophet SAWS and this book dedicated an entire section. So more than a collection of facts and dates, it contains vivid discussions that will enlighten you and broaden your understanding of the Seerah.

This is by far the best seerah book I have read in my life. ‘Sunshine at Madinah; along with author’s other book ‘Hijra’ follow a unique approach to Seerah writing which is deeply moving and insightful. Instead of following the standard linear/chronological approach to narrating the biography of Prophet SAW, Zakaria Bashier, takes you back in time to the seventh century Madinah so that you live and breath the life and times of Rasool Allah SAW and get a taste of spiritual companionship of Nabi SAW. Kudos to Dawah Books for making this book accessible to Pakistani audience.
