About the Book:The late Colonel Muhammad ‘Ata ur-Rahim, originally from Pakistan, earned a degree in Law and an MA at Aligarh Muslim University in India. He then continued his studies at the Universities of Edinburgh and London. After being appointed the Principal of the Urdu College in Karachi, he began his research on Jesus (peace be upon him) and Christianity. In 1975 he came to London and with the collaboration of Ahmad Thomson wrote the book Jesus, Prophet of Islam. First published in 1977, his well-researched book continues to be valued and remains in print today in its revised edition. British barrister Ahmad Thomson is the head of Wynne Chambers, which aims to offer legal and practical advice in the context of both English law and Islamic teachings. A convert to Islam, he has authored or revised several books on Islamic and interfaith topics. He also gives lectures about Islam and has been a featured guest on a number of television programmes in the UK. He assisted Colonel Rahim in putting together the book Jesus, Prophet of Islam, working with him to collect the material of the book, structure it, and express it in fluent English. In 1996, Ahmad Thomson also revised the book and had it reprinted.
