‘Dangers in the home’ presents a brief but clear opinion on many issues and situations that occur in our homes today. Many may find the book to be filled with lots of ‘don’ts’ but the truth is that it brings forth real-life situations that need some careful thought. Some may feel that certain situations presented in the book are exaggerated but one glance at the current social issues or topics being promoted through films & dramas and all of a sudden its all in our face. Islam presents a way of life that does not let the desire take root in the first place, hence removing the occurrence of a fitnah. The writer shares a moderate opinion in many instances realizing the issues and limitations of today. Most thought provoking part in the book is the point of view regarding decoration in the home – an eye opener!
