In The Early Hours

When I first look at the title to this book, I had no idea what it contains. But I really wanted to read a book on spirituality. Something which will boost me up and uplift me. I needed that motivation and strong will power. And I must say that this book is a must for any spiritual seekers. No matter how low you feel, or how high you feel, this book will help you. We live a chaotic and busy life. And due to our human nature, we tend to forget. But there must be something which will be able to bring us back to the right path. Or else this forgetfulness will be detrimental to our Imaan. We are just a traveller on a journey to where we come from. And believe me, no matter what, our heart and soul long to be home. Being human we have a spiritual link with the One who created us and we must always seek His nearness. This book has rejuvenated something within me. Don’t read it for the sake of reading but for the sake of changing. Believe me, you’ll feel like reading it over and over again. And this book consists of many practical ways of how a person can work on his spiritual needs. We don’t have a choice when it comes to death as no matter what, one day we must die and meet our Lord. But in Dunya we have a choice. If we want, we can choose to seek His nearness in this world & our heart will long to meet Allah. The Prophet said whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him. No one will ever regret reading this book.

For everyone who has grown up reading Khurram Murad's books, this one is going to be reminiscent of everything he has ever written in the past. Some of his most profound lectures have been collected in this book. What amazes me is how effortlessly he shares spiritual reflections along with simple and practical advice. Its a beautiful book that should be read again and again to renew our faith.
