When I first look at the title to this book, I had no idea what it contains. But I really wanted to read a book on spirituality. Something which will boost me up and uplift me. I needed that motivation and strong will power. And I must say that this book is a must for any spiritual seekers. No matter how low you feel, or how high you feel, this book will help you. We live a chaotic and busy life. And due to our human nature, we tend to forget. But there must be something which will be able to bring us back to the right path. Or else this forgetfulness will be detrimental to our Imaan. We are just a traveller on a journey to where we come from. And believe me, no matter what, our heart and soul long to be home. Being human we have a spiritual link with the One who created us and we must always seek His nearness. This book has rejuvenated something within me. Don’t read it for the sake of reading but for the sake of changing. Believe me, you’ll feel like reading it over and over again. And this book consists of many practical ways of how a person can work on his spiritual needs. We don’t have a choice when it comes to death as no matter what, one day we must die and meet our Lord. Alhamdulillah! I’m grateful that I’m reading this book. I’m done halfway through it. This book gives the reader a calming effect.
“In the Early Hours” is basically composed of seven chapters based on different aspects of spiritual and religious developments.
Also if someone is looking for ways to improve their Ibadah (Salah, Zakat, Soum), then this book is a perfect guide for him.
