An amazing and inspiring read. One that left the heart shaken up in a much needed way. Everyone gets the heart veiled by heedlessness over time and we need clear and concise advice to revive our heart. The source is the Quran and Ustadh Nouman does a wonderful job of connecting the reader to the Quran in a beautiful way – giving us hope from the Quran and learn from the way of the Prophets. Highly recommended for those who find themselves alone in this journey to Allah.

The book is composed of five parts on day-to-day life topics, each topic embedded with at least a surah referring to the topic in such a way that a common mind hasn’t perceived before.
    An eye and mind-opening read.

This is the FIRST islamic book that I’ve come across that has the perfect combination for people who are not advanced in Islamic studies but want to feel closer to Allah. Its the perfect mix between information, lessons, and stories. I especially adore how it answers questions that have always floated around in my head but I wasn’t confident enough to ask. It talks about the story of Musa (AS) and also Surah Al-Asr through an amazing perspective that I was never told about before. It tells us things that only a certified Islamic scholar would know in a way so simple that even children could understand it. Would love to read more books like this.

    Amazing!

I was a bit hesitant about reading this because I thought it would contain advice that can be applied on a community level only. But I was wrong.

There are plenty of beautiful and practical reflections in this book for both individuals and communities.

I found each and every topic match my current situation, which has happened for the first time. There is so much to learn from this one book, and the best part is, Ustadh makes it all so relatable.

It’s a collection of his lectures so the writing is informal and super easy to understand. It’s not devoid of humour either.

I highly recommend it for every Muslim.

This is a nice, precise read which causes the reader to reflect on the Quran. As is typical with Nouman Ali Khan, he has picked a few ayaat of the Quran on various topics and analyzed them beautifully, sharing a lot of wisdom with the readers and allowing them to view the topics under discussion in a new light.
